Facilities

Belle Vue Racers are based at the Sportcity complex, Rowsley Street, Manchester M11 3FF (map here).
Training sessions are held every Thursday evening at 6:45 pm. Entrance to Sportcity is £2.20 for Manchester residents and club fees per night are £1. Changing facilities and showers are available.
Everyone is welcome, from complete novices to elite runners. Coaches work together as a team to ensure everyone gets the most out of sessions.               

Coaching

Head Coach: Lynda Cheetham

I have been a runner at BVR since the club first opened and have been running for over twenty years, mad yes, but it’s what I enjoy! I am now coach at BVR since taking over after my husband Eddie Cheetham died in 2003.
It has been very challenging and very rewarding and I have been thankful for the help and support of the committee and club members.
I am a Medical Secretary and Health Care Assistant during the day, which I also find rewarding. Outside of running I enjoy dancing (if you can cha cha, give me a ring!), swimming, music, reading and cooking.
